What's a socket?
A Socket is something, which you can merge with a magical rune or a magical stone. After merging socket with the magical rune or the magical stone, both cannot be separated.
An item can have sockets available, but a higher maximum of sockets as well. In the first case you can read in the attributes: X Sockets, Y available. Cannot be socketed any further. Which means, the item has X Slots for Sockelitems, of which Y are used, and it is not able to be socketed any further.
In the second case for example X Sockets available, Y Sockets allowed. This means, that a blacksmith can apply Y sockets Sockel anbringen.
